This page is an introduction to the lore of this story and the reason behind why there is an ongoing war.
Panel 1
Two creatures create a magical crystal that then power up the city they build together for all types of creatures. The story is told by the main character Evangeline.
Evangeline: Once there was a glorious kingdom where creatures form around the universe lived together in a perfect harmony. However,
Panel 2
Three evil leaders conspire against the creatures from previous panel and stop them. They kill the women to stop the couple from making anymore of half breads.
Evangeline: Three powerful individuals wanted to keep the original bloodlines pure and strong.
Panel 3
The kingdom being separated into two separate cities.
Evangeline: They decided to rule the city and promised a bigger, better future for all.
Their version of the future looked different than what people expected it to be.
Panel 4
Evangeline heading out of the city to serve in army as she just turned 18 years old and need to fulfil her duty.
Evangeline: This led to never ending war between the great leaders and rebellion of people that divided the kingdom into two small cities. The city that once was a home for all types of creatures became a trap full of strict rules that forbid any outsiders from entering it.
Now that I've turned 18, it is my duty to become a part of this madness and fight for the better, brighter future.

Evangeline aiming at enemies with her sniper ripple.
Everett– Group of three, twenty meters ahead.
Evangeline- Got them.
Panel 2
View through the sniper on three enemy soldiers having a discussion.
Everett- Remember guys your safety is a priority if something goes wrong retreat to safety. Also don’t force yourself Evangeline it’s your first year after all.
Evangeline- You know I can do it General.
Everett- I never doubted your abilities.

Long panel with view on the enemies and Evangeline’s group preparing to ambush them.
Everett- On my signal.

Seraphine- 1!
Panel 3
Impatient Seraphine heads out first with her two guns pointed towards. Very enthusiastic about capturing her enemies.
Seraphine-LET’S SHOW THEM HOW WE DEAL WITH TRESPASSERS!
Panel 4.
Seraphine pointing her gun at two enemies with hands in the air. She is a bit confused as one of the enemy solider seem to be missing.
Seraphine- Hold on a second…
Weren’t there three of you?
Panel 5
Alexander standing over Evangeline with a sword pointing towards her head.
Alexander- I wouldn’t pull the trigger if I were you.
Seraphine- Ev are you ok?
Evangeline- Well actually…

Panel 1
Seraphine uses her shield power to block the sword.
Evangeline- I may need some help, Seraphine.
Panel 2
Seraphine jumps out of the portal. Alexander seems caught out of guard.
Seraphine- THE BEST DUO PERTNER ALWAYS READY TO SAVE THE DAY!
Alexander- Huh?
Panel 3
Alexander reflects Seraphine’s bullet with his sword.
Panel 4
Seraphine yells at Evangeline to get her sniper ripple that lies just besides Alexander.
Seraphine- EV, THE SNIPER RIPPLE!
Panel 5
Alexander throws his sword towards seraphine to hurt her and stop her from shotting him. Seraphine is distracted by the ground shaking.
Seraphine-Why is the ground shaking?
OUCH!
Panel 6
Evangeline on the ground got a grip of her sniper ripple. However, it is too late for her to help her friend. She seems upset as she blames herself for what happened.
Evangeline- Oh no I was too slow again. My best friend got wounded because of me.

Zoom in on Everett’s face screaming.
Everett- EVERYONE RETREAT! IT’S A CAGON!
Panel 2
Full body shot of Evangeline and Alexander hardly standing as the ground underneath their feel trembling and cracking.
Alexander- It’s a what?
Evangeline- IT’S A CAT-DRAGON!
Panel 3
Evangeline takes advantage the situation and rather than keep fighting in these conditions she gives Alexander a chance to surrender.
Evangeline-Surrender is a valid option, I promise I won’t hurt you.
Panel 4
Alexander holding his hands up and thinking of a possible excuse to get out of this mess.
Alexander- How about a NO?
If you shoot now, we both will end up as a snack.
Panel 5
View of the monster waking up. The dirt and rocks falling everywhere from its back. Both Evangeline’s and Alexander’s teammates save themselves and run.
Panel 6
Zoom in on the monster’s mouth full of sharp teach and snake like tongue. It is roaring loudly.
Cagon- ROOAR!

Splash page. The Cagon (Cat-Dragon) flee away with Alexander and Evangeline stuck on the top of it’s body.

Frustrated Evangeline is trying to convince Alexander to surrender to avoid fighting him.
Evangeline- Do you have a death wish or something? Just put your weapon down already!
Panel 2
Alexander reaching his swords on his back. His pride doesn’t let him give up just now. He smirks.
Alexander- Are you seriously asking me to chose between losing to you or a cat?
Panel 3
Alexander stabs both of his swords into the ground which is the monster’s body.
Alexander- If we go down…
Panel 4
The monster aggressively hissing and shakes both characters off. It sends Evangeline and Alexander in the air.
Alexander- WE GO DOWN TOGETHER!
Panel 5
Alexander and Evangeline falling down. Evangeline is screaming and saying her life regrets.
Evangeline-
I DON’T WANT TO DIE!
I never wanted to be a part of this war.
I never killed anyone.
So why me?
WHYYY!

Panel 1
Alexander holds Evangeline in his arms and uses his power of strength to land safely. The hard landing makes the ground crack under his feet.
Evangeline: I guess mom was right after all, Supports always die first. If I only knew how to use the sniper rifle properly...

Evangeline is shocked.
Alex: GOTCHA!
Evangeline: HUH!

Evangeline is angry and confused. She creams.
Evangeline- WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! SAVING YOUR ENEMY,ARE YOU CRAZY?!
LET GO OFF ME!
Panel 2
Alexander taking off his mask relaxed as he realises Evangeline is no threat.
Alexander- You said you “don’t want to die”. Well, that makes two of us.
We are too far away from the city for our devices to catch a signal and call for help.
Panel 3
Evangeline standing angry waiting for Alexander to explain himself. A wild monster stray dog is heading towards them from behind.
Evangeline- Your point?
Panel 4
Three aggressively looking monsters are heading towards them as Alexander speaking in the background.
Alexander-We could work together or get eaten by the monsters in the ruins.
Panel 5
Evangeline knows she doesn’t have a choice, with a unhappy face expression she stands back to back with her enemy, surrounded by monsters.
Evangeline- Damn you.
Alexander- I will take that as a YES.

A monster dog jumps towards to attack them.

View from the inside of monster’s mouth with lots of teeth around. Evangeline is shooting the monster in front of her.
Panel 2
Dynamic pose of Alexander slaying one of the monster dogs in half. Meanwhile the last monster jumps and bites into his side.
Alexander- I’ve changed my mind. At this rate we both gonna die.
Panel 3
Alexander lifts his shirt to see the damage the monster did to him. The third monster’s head hangs on the sword as Alex killed it. Evangeline is not very happy; she heads to seat somewhere and heal Alex.
Evangeline- Ugh don’t be so dramatic.
Let’s take a break so I can heal your wound.
Panel 4
Evangeline uses her healing power to heal Alexander.
Alexander- Heal? You are a healer? What’s the big gun for then? It takes up both of your hands...
Evangeline- Look I know I’m not a prefect teammate, there is no need to point that out. Besides who wants to be a support there days, they always die.

Alexander trying to be optimistic about the being teammates.
Alexander- Well we managed to survive so far; I’d say we make a pretty good team.
…Ev?
That’s what your friend called you right?

They both sit on the ground and discuss things. Evangeline is using her device to try to find a way back.
Evangeline- Ev is a nickname. My real name is Evangeline.
Also, I think I know how to find our way back. My device should have old maps stored somewhere within it.

Alexander- Evangeline? Doesn’t it mean a bearer of good news?
Your parents must have really believed in this whole better future thing.
Panel 4
Evangeline seems a bit embarrassed and flushing.
Evangeline- Yeah, I guess you could say that.
What’s your name?
Panel 5
Alexander standing proudly with a big smile.
Alexander- Alex, pretty cool huh?
Panel 6
Evangeline holding the device and leading the way while Alex follows her. They are both very chatty.
Evangeline- Alexander hmm…
Means warrior and protector of men. It would fit perfectly if you were on our side, the good side that wants a better future.
Alexander- “The good side”? Don’t make me laugh.

Evangeline starting a yelling match with Alex as she thinks he is the bad guy in this story.
Evangeline: What's so funny? The fact that so many people were brave enough to sacrifice their life for the greater good?!
Panel 2
Alex laughing and revealing the truth to Ev.
Alex: For the greater good? Is that what your great leaders toldyou? Refusing to sign a peace treaty, killing creatures from around the universe in order to gain more powerful soldiers, the list goes on and on. Is this what you call a greater good? Power is more important to your leaders than the people. What's good about it?
Panel 3
Ev and Alex yelling at each other face to face.
Ev: That's ridiculous, where did you even hear these fairy tales? A peace treaty? There never was anything like this!
Alex: Maybe it's time to face the truth. Your leaders are brainwashing people to make them believe that we are the threat. The truth is your leaders decided to sentence all these people to death. All this because some of us choose freedom and love over power.
Panel 4
Ev taking out a long jacket out of her bag.
Ev: Why not see foryourself? Since your people are forbidden from entering the city, you have no idea how much things have changed.
Panel 5
Alex giving up and putting on the jacket.
Alex: You know what? I love your idea, it will definitely kill at least one of us. However, I will take that risk to prove you wrong.

Alex and Ev entering the city.
Alex: So what's our plan? Are we going in just like that? What if we get caught?
Ev: We are going to sneak into the town hall to find one of the leaders. I'm going to ask questions and you will cover me.

Evangeline opens the door with her handprint.
Panel 3
They sneak into the building.
Alex: Did you ever consider. that maybe they don't want the war to end?
Ev: Why are you always thinking about the worst possible scenario? Can't you be at least a bit optimistic? I'm about to prove you wrong.
Panel 4
Evangeline entered the office of the leader. Her seats at the desk, chair rotated towards a window.
Ev: Are you one of the leaders? I’m here to ask you a couple of questions.
Firstly, I think there was a misunderstanding about the whole war zone in the desert. I don't think the citizens of the other city want this war. So why don't we sign a peace treaty or something?It's been decades, surely we could come to somekind of an agreement?

The leader turns around and it turns out to be Ev’s general Everett.
Everett: Evangeline, I was so worried.
Panel 2
He grabs her by the chin and cuts her chick with his claws.
Everett: Dear Evangeline, did you know that any act of treason including questioning your leader is punishable by death? It'd be a shame if your talent went to waste.
Ev: What? I didn’t…
Panel 3
Alex saves Evangeline.
Alex: Hands off her!
Everett: Well, well, well. Who do we have here? I see you found a new friend out in the ruins Ev. Such a waste of a pure blood with extraordinary talent.
Panel 4
Evangeline: So it is true, you value power over your people. You made people of this city believe that the enemy is outside of these walls.
Meanwhile the enemy was hiding among us all along. Your reign ENDS NOW!
Panel 5
Evangeline kills the evil leader.
Panel 6
Ev becomes the new leader.
Ev: From now on I'm the leader of this city. Together we can change the future for better.
Let's go Alex. It's time to change the rules back to how it should be.
